Care to share your favorite tips?

So you’ve been playing Catan Online or Catan: the Computer Game for a while now. Maybe you’ve been playing the Settlers of Catan board game for years. Or maybe you only just started, but you already know a game-winning trick or two. It doesn’t matter how much Catan experience you have; if you’re an ace of acquisition or a diva of development, we’d like to hear how you do it!

Send us your most effective strategy, hottest tip, or sneakiest Catan-related trick!

We’re looking for tips on all aspects of Catan: initial placement, expansion, trade, resource management, development, banditry for fun and profit: whatever gives you the edge on your opponents, we’re keen to applaud you for it!

On September 4, 2005, we’ll take the best tips we’ve received so far, assemble them into a big ol’ strategy article (proof, of course, that our players are a continent-colonizing force to be reckoned with!), and post it both here and on MSN Games for all to see. Don’t forget to include your MSN Games screen name with any submissions, so we can tell the world who suggested each tip!
